Welcoming new members to the Fair Education Alliance
This month we're thrilled to welcome 15 organisations to the Fair Education Alliance, spanning the full journey from cradle to career. They bring frontline, delivery-led insight and national research and policy expertise and share your vision that meaningful change means working collectively, not in isolation.

National Network for the Education of Care Leavers (NNECL) supports care-experienced young people into further and higher education, while The PTI (Professional Teaching Institute)helps teachers close the gap for children from low-income households through subsidised CPD.
Babyzone brings stigma-free early years hubs co-located with statutory services, Children's Book Project is tackling book poverty by re-homing donated books, Buttle UK provides tailored grants to children and young people facing poverty and crisis, and Derbyshire Carers Association supports over seventeen thousand unpaid carers with a dedicated Education Engagement Service in schools.
Careers and mentoring feature heavily too: Elevate Education Business Partnership has spent twenty-seven years linking Liverpool City Region employers to young people, My Big Career offers free careers guidance, and Track Academy, Urban Synergy and TimeGivers are each opening doors through experiential learning, mentoring and volunteering. Jon Egging Trust brings long-term STEM-inspired experiential learning to disengaged young people:

Elsewhere, RJ Working CIO is building restorative practice into Cornwall’s schools and Wallsend Children’s Community is tackling the root causes of poverty in North Tyneside:
“We are excited to contribute our experience and research, learn from other members, and collaborate to create a fairer education system where every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.”
And Internet Matters joins with national reach on digital inclusion and online safety:
“Internet Matters is proud to join a coalition of organisations united by a shared commitment to tackling educational inequality. By joining the FEA, we look forward to helping ensure that education and opportunity are never a postcode lottery.”
You'll start to meet these new members at our working groups and events over the coming months, including the Fair Education Report Card launch on 9 September - please give them a warm welcome when you do.
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do, and we believe it's what makes this Alliance stronger than the sum of its parts.
What is the Member Directory?
Our membership tools include two key elements: the Ecosystem Map and Member Directory.
Our Member Directory serves as a central place for you to access key information about each other. Using this tool, you can search and filter based on areas of work, specific outcomes, and different regions members are working. You can also use our ‘People Directory’ to connect with individuals working across the FEA network. This streamlines and simplifies the process of connection, so you have key information at your fingertips and can more effectively connect and collaborate throughout the year.
