How to deepen your involvement with the Fair Education Alliance
You, along with almost 300 other members, are the Fair Education Alliance. You’re the heart of everything we do. In recent weeks, at our Strategy Refresh Workshops and as part of broader discussions, many of you have shared a desire to connect more deeply with the FEA and play a bigger role in shaping our collective impact. Whilst we’re working on the strategy, we’re excited to offer some practical ways to help you do just that!
Here are a few simple ways you can deepen your involvement:
Share the Bulletin with your colleagues: One of the easiest ways to keep your team or network engaged with the FEA is by encouraging them to sign up for this Bulletin. By subscribing, they’ll receive the latest sector news, updates from across the Alliance, events and job opportunities directly to their inbox.
Follow us on social media: Stay connected to the FEA by following us on social media platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram and Bluesky. Our channels offer a real-time view of our activities, highlight important moments in education and serve as a space for you to engage in conversations with other members. We love it when you reshare our content or tag us in your posts too! #FairEdForAll
Attend upcoming events: FEA events offer an excellent opportunity to come together, collaborate and learn from one another. In our remaining strategy refresh workshops on 28th April in London and 29th April in Manchester, we will explore the future direction of the FEA and how we can collectively drive change. You also don't want to miss our event on 15 May on ‘Exploring Collaboration and Mergers for a Sustainable Future’, which will focus on building organisational resilience and navigating shared challenges.
Get involved in our Working Groups: Our Collective Action Working Groups are a vital part of the FEA’s strategy, allowing us to collaborate with members on key educational issues and push for systemic change. By attending one of our group sessions, you can hear from guest speakers, learn from other members, and gain knowledge in specific areas such as AI, Policy, or Youth Engagement. Find out more about how to join one of our CAWGs here.
Use our Membership Tools: You, as a member of the Fair Education Alliance, have access to two exclusive Membership Tools: our Ecosystem Map and our Member Directory. We co-created these tools with FEA members to help you make a greater impact through connecting, collaborating, and effectively targeting the young people in England who would benefit most from your support. If you need assistance using these tools, sign up for one of our training workshops here.
We’re thrilled to have you as part of the Alliance and look forward to working together to create a fairer education system for all. For more details on our work and how you can get involved, please visit the FEA website.
