Welcome to the Fair Education Alliance
We are delighted to welcome you to the Fair Education Alliance.
Over the next 90 days, we will take you through a structured onboarding journey – designed to get you set up, connected to the right people, and making the most of your membership from day one.
To kick things off, we've put together everything you need below.
Your FEA Ambassadors
Every member organisation nominates two FEA Ambassadors - your key connectors to the Alliance. They champion collaboration, spot opportunities for your colleagues, and are your organisation's main point of contact with us. You can update your Ambassadors at any time. If you wish to change them, please let us know as soon as possible.
1. Join us for your Welcome Call
Your first step is our group onboarding call, where you'll meet the FEA team and fellow new members. We'll walk you through your onboarding journey, membership offer, our three pillars – Collective Voice, Collective Action, and Collective Strength - and help you identify which opportunities to get involved over the coming months.

2. Your pre-call checklist
Please complete these steps before the Welcome Call so you are set up and ready to go.

Your Member Guide sets out everything you can expect from us, and everything we ask of you. We recommend your Ambassadors read it before the Welcome Call.

Our FEA Membership Tools include two key elements: our Ecosystem Map and a Member Directory.
We co-created these with FEA members to help you have a greater impact through connecting, collaborating, and better targeting the young people in England who could most benefit from your support. These tools support members to work together to increase the quality and quantity of member engagement, remove the bottleneck of engagement within and across members, and build on our existing work to help members connect and collaborate more effectively. They also help members target their work for the greatest impact.
-
Our weekly bulletin is your window into FEA activity – policy updates, events, opportunities to collaborate, and ways to get involved. Your CEO, both Ambassadors, and any key contacts will already be signed up.
Ensure your CEO, Chair, both Ambassadors, and relevant contacts are subscribed – if not, please do get in touch. Our bulletin goes out every Wednesday.
Share this link with other colleagues in your organisation who'd like to stay up to date with our member offering, sector news and more!
Do you have news, events or opportunities to share? As well as sharing through our weekly Bulletin, we’re always looking to promote members on our social media channels. Just email bulletin@faireducation.org.uk with the details and we’ll do the rest! Please submit any job vacancies via our online form.

Stay connected to the FEA by following us on social media: LinkedIn, Instagram.
Our channels offer a real-time view of our activities, highlight important moments in education and serve as a space for you to engage in conversations with other members.
We love it when you reshare our content or tag us in your posts too! #FairEducation

Keep your eyes peeled for an invite to a member gathering – to connect with new and existing members in person
3. What happens next
Here's a snapshot of what the first 90 days look like:
Days 1–30 (Welcome & Orientation): Pre call checklist complete (inc.Ambassadors confirmed) - Group welcome call
Days 30–60 (Embedding & Connecting): Group Membership Tools session with our data officer Dan – Coffee with current member - identify your first collaboration opportunity
Days 60–90 (Active Membership): By now you should be signed up to a working group or collaboration - member get together - complete a short feedback survey
4. A quick reminder of your Member Commitments
Your full Member Guide covers these in detail, but here's the summary of what we ask of every member organisation:
Nominate two FEA Ambassadors
Participate in at least one thematic or place-based collaboration
Attend the Fair Education Summit (your CEO or a senior leader)
Create and maintain your Member Directory profile
Ensure key staff are signed up to the Member Bulletin
Let your team know you're an FEA member (and refresh this annually)
Act in line with our values: Fair, Impactful, Inclusive, Learners, Helpful, Honest, and Fun & Joyful
5. Let your team and wider network know!
Part of your membership commitment is ensuring your staff and stakeholders know you've joined the FEA. A short internal message goes a long way.
Share the news internally – email, intranet, team meeting, whatever works for you!
Optional: shout about it on LinkedIn or Instagram (making sure to tag us)
Advertise the fact you are an FEA member by adding our logo and information about us to your website
Download FEA logos to use on your website and in your publications
